Hiking
I believe to be extremely satisfactory and enjoyable walking along the seashore.
As you walk, you can see the beautiful beaches that surround the Costa da Morte, a great variety of trees, as well as a diversity of birds, small mammals, fish, amphibians and reptiles.
Bars or café
If the weather is bad and you don't want to watch TV. You don't want to stay home either.
You can see one of the many local bands and listen to your best songs in some bar, such as " A ventana", "O Bocho", "O escaravello"... You can go out to dinner and eat pizza to "CervecerÃa de Laxe" or have an elegant dinner at "Zurich".

And to finish...
Let´s talk about Laxe 40-50 years ago. Formerly, in Laxe people used to do routes to walk. "The people in Laxe are happier than in other places" say the veterans in this beautiful village!
Sailing
These were the mooriings in Laxe, now are located somewhere else because Portos have decided to change them.
Have you ever tried sailing, surfing or windsurfing?
In summer, the Nautic Club of Laxe organize maritime activities, but also the town hall organize other activities: summer camps for kids, visits to the villages, trips to Cerceda Aquapark, etc.
Surfing is practiced in all the beach of Soesto too.
RECOMMENDATION!!
In Laxe you can go to parties too, it´s so funny, every people who visit this village and go to parties say that are the best around. Dare to come to Laxe, it´s a great experience!
Interview
To learn more about this village, we have decided to ask to the most knowledgeable about Laxe, the grandparents.
They say that before the tourism appeared , Laxe was quite poor, people were coming from villages around only to work or visit their relatives and friends.
Previously, It was very usual to see children from 10 or 12 years old working to help families, but when possible,and they had free time, they used to play typical games, for example, skipping,as hopscotch, jump-rope, hide-and-seek ,play football in the beach hula hoops or the popular game called "Los tres navÃos."
